"A smile is the universal welcome." - Max Eastman
If you were to visit the village of Qaqortoq in Greenland - as I recently did - I'm guessing you would appreciate the smiling faces of the Inuit people
who live in that remote place as well as the smiling faces carved into rocks there.
We may not understand Inuktitut, the language spoken by the Inuit natives, but we can
respond to their smiles.
No matter what harsh, harmonious, or happy conditions we are ever experiencing and what language differences we encounter, may we remember to offer warm and
welcoming smiles to one another.
Let's smile and watch how joy and hope rise within us today.
With love and best wishes,
Charlene
