Some days it's easy. We don't even have to look for it. The sunny side is all around. In fact, the rising sun resembles a sunny side up egg, and it matches the bright joy rising in our hearts. 

I hope you soon experience such joy. Perhaps, today. Surely, soon.

What about the times we wake with gloom lingering inside and out? We can look for hope's silver linings and joy's sunny sides. Of course. But sometimes we're not quite ready.

Fortunately, along with hope and joy, we have other gifts, resources for all conditions. We can call upon strength, listen for guiding wisdom, and apply compassion to life's hurts and hardships, doubts and fears.  

There's always a gift ready to comfort, embrace, uplift, guide, inspire, and empower us. 

May recognizing our gifts - and using our gifts - turn us, again and again, toward seeing the sunny side of life.
