Today, and for the next 12 days, let's contribute to the re-creation of the world by focusing on a particular gift, opening it, and putting it to use. 

Unlike material gifts that we open by removing bows, untying ribbons, and unwrapping paper, our inner gifts can be opened with intention, enthusiasm, need, and gratitude. Inspirational quotes can be a helpful tool.

For the next 12 days, each touchstone will feature the gift of the day in a simple way, with a quote for you to consider. 

I suggest thinking about that gift throughout the day. Look for evidence of it in nature, in other people, and in yourself.  Watch for times you feel a need for it. Notice how you use it. Remember to thank the Giver.
