"We are not going to change the whole world,
but we can change ourselves and feel free as birds.
We can be serene even in the midst of calamities and,
by our serenity, make others more tranquil."
- Swami Satchidananda
Today, may we choose serenity, peace, and loving compassion. If something disturbs our peace, we can respond in a way that has proven to be helpful to some people.
One such way is to pause, and with eyes closed, place one hand over the heart area and one over the belly. Then breathe slowly and deeply for a few minutes.
A mindful walk in nature is another way.
However you choose to be soothed, remember this:
You have the power to feel peace, be at peace, seed peace, and spread peace.
With love,
Charlene
