I'm feeling very connected with all of nature as I write this. I just spent an hour in an inside closet with my husband and our cat, Princess. A tornado-producing storm passed over our location in central Florida.  Being in a small space, listening to weather updates, along with high wind and rain, produced a sense of intimacy, trust, and appreciation for what we have.

My hope, my prayer, is that we all feel a deepening, reverent kinship with all humanity and all creation.

May this kinship lead us into peace and a prosperity that allows all people and creatures to have food, shelter, water, safety and all that we each need to survive and thrive.
