Hope and beauty are everywhere,
whether or not we recognize them.
But how wondrous it is
when we do see them,
especially in unlikely places.
You've probably noticed them sometime,
in the midst of horrors
and natural disasters,
when the best of humanity shines
with compassion and courage,
in sacrifice and service.

Hope. Beauty.
Let's look for them every day.
