"Stay in awe of life. The little things are the big things."
― Richie Norton
Awe of life. We're in it more than we realize. Some of the time, however, we are seeing life as "awful" instead of "awesome."
Let's aim to experience more of the joyful, reverent side of awe. If we find ourselves judging something as awful, let's look for some wondrous little thing that leads us from feeling awful to awe-full.
With love and laughter,

I'm chuckling because I experienced this yesterday.
After a series of happenings that seemed quite awful to me,
while driving I happened upon a snow-dusted median
that graced the sides of a curving road.
It was so wondrous that I stopped the car to marvel at it.
You may know that I live in Florida and you might be skeptical
about the snow. But we actually have something called "Florida snow"
this time of year. Instead of white flakes falling from the sky,
"Florida Snow" is a pinkish-white, perennial wildflower
that rises from the soil.
Its proper and appropriate name is Richardia grandiflora - appropriate because it really is a grand little flower
that demonstrates today's quote
about little things being big.
This experience from awful to awe-full was a gift from nature.
For me it carries a lesson of peace and well-being.
Feel free to write to me about what it conveys to you.
In fact, please do!
Also, please keep in mind that my newest book,
The Twelve Gifts from the Garden offers many such stories that are little
but potentially big in their impact. Might this book be ideal
for someone on your gift-giving list?

THE NINTH GIFT IS REVERENCE.
May you appreciate the wonder that you are
and the miracle of all creation.
