"Every year I resolve to be a little less the me I know
and leave a little room for the me I could become."
- Wendy Wasserstein
We all have room for growth and "becoming."
The pachystachys plant - commonly known as the lollypop plant, the golden candle, and the golden shrimp plant - symbolizes today's quote for me.
The three thriving in my garden nurture my belief that we can grow in ways we, and others, may not have expected.
Individually, we can become something beyond what we are now.
We can even become a more cooperative and compassionate country and world, as we each become more real, more honest, and more caring.
What small step might we take in this direction today? Let's do it.
Thank you for dreaming with me.
With faith, hope, and love,
Charlene
