A similar quote comes to mind:
"We are not here to see through each other but to see one another through."
I've seen this quote attributed to Gloria Vanderbilt, Peter DeVries, and Maya Angelou. "Anonymous" too. I don't know who first said it or wrote it, but I do know that this quote and the one above are wise touchstones for living with joy and peace of mind.
Let's take these quotes to heart and practice compassion by standing with one another and standing by each another.
