"The tears of the world are a constant quality.
For each one who begins to weep,
somewhere else another stops.
The same is true of the laugh."
- Samuel Beckett
And with every moment of sunset, the sun is rising elsewhere.
Let's remember that in every glorious moment, the Symphony of Life is present and playing. It's the harmony of all birthing and dying, laughing and crying, singing and sighing, and it's full of beauty.
Sometimes we feel its rhythm in our hearts, the beat of hope. Whatever we are experiencing now shall pass and become something new. May we be open to what is and to what will be as we give thanks for life itself.
With love,
Charlene
PS - If you wish to experience the cycles of nature and a range of human emotions expressed in music, a link to a David Garrett - Vivaldi Four Seasons concert is provided below. My favorite is Summer. Consider closing your eyes and listening to the entire sample. If you don't have the time (38 minutes) or the desire, listen to just a small portion anywhere along the time line. Notice how the music soothes and stirs you.
THE FIFTH GIFT IS HOPE.
Through each passage and season
may you trust the goodness of life.
