"I've always been one of those people who wondered 'What if...'"
- Ann Maxwell
Most "What if?" questions are prompted by fear of something uncomfortable or even tragic happening. What if I start a business and it fails?" "What if the plane goes down?"
These negative "What ifs" can keep us from taking risks and living fully.
What if we start asking positive "What if? questions?
What if the world needs your idea? What if our heartfelt dreams are sacred?
Instead of thinking our creative ideas and dreams as far-fetched, we can picture them as near, fetchable, and manifested.
Next, with faith, we take a step. Then another. And another. There's no need to wait until all our ducks are in a row. Visualize the goal. Then act. Move toward it.
"What would I do today if I were brave?" goes a song by Jana Stanfield.
We may not feel brave, but we do have courage. We have imagination. We have talent. We have love. We have many gifts. Let's put them to work.
For the good of all,
Charlene
