For sure, being awed is a profound and powerful experience. 

When was the last time something beautiful led you to tears, rendered you speechless, brought you to your knees, or made you laugh with joy? Such a depth of awe is rare. But perhaps you occasionally pause to watch the sun rise or you photograph rainbows to share with friends.

The natural wonderment that is strong in early childhood begins to wan at about age 10. But at any age, this capacity, this gift, is still within us.

And it would, indeed, be a great achievement for us to renew this state and reach it daily, as a way of life. Can you imagine how we would treat one another, all living things, all creation?  

I wish such reverence for you. I wish it for all of us.
