“Hope is a disposition of the heart,
not a commitment to a certain outcome...
Hope is no guarantee that things will turn out well
but a conviction that pattern and purpose will prevail
no matter what the outcome.”
- Alan Jones
Hope has many levels. On the surface, hope is optimistic. Hope sees the good. Hope believes in slim chances against overwhelming odds.
At its depths, hope is linked closely to faith, strength, and courage. Here, we trust that all will be well even when the unimaginable happens.
At all levels, hope allows us to live in peace with what is and what will be.
May we keep our hearts open and embrace life today.
With hope and love,
Charlene
