"It is a person's unquenchable thirst for wonder
That sets them on their initial quest for truth...
The more you quench your thirst for wonder,
The more you drink from the cup of life...
- Suzy Kassem
When we were young children and everything in the world was brand new to us, we often experienced wonder. And wonder led us to and through curiosity, enthusiasm, seeking, finding, learning, growing, gratitude, joy, love, and much more.
As adults, wonder can still lead us to rich experiences of all of life's gifts.
Albert Einstein said wonder leads us to wisdom. Suzy Kassem said wonder leads us to truth and unconditional love. What do you say?
I say, let's let it lead us to respect for differences, to reverence for all creation, to wisdom, to unconditional love.
And to peace, *

* Joy, too. I experienced wonder and joy yesterday in my community when I saw clouds, not in the early morning sky, by resting on the ground, as if still asleep. The views were magical. Notice what beauty is available for you to see with awe today.
