There are so many attempts to define love. So many ways to describe it.
In music alone, it's been estimated that more than 100 million love songs have been recorded. I don't know about that amount. But I do know some of the songs.
Love makes the world go round.
Love is a many splendored thing.
What the world needs now is love, sweet love....
One of the best definitions/descriptions I've heard is: Love is a decision.
I first heard the words "Love is a decision," at a Marriage Encounter Weekend a long long time ago. I've come to believe that choosing to love, deciding to act in a loving manner no matter what's happening can heal relationships. It can even change the world.
Without any expectations of reward, let's just decide to love.
